Applegate Ball Park — SCOREBOARD OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS — HOME Team Duty

• Scoreboard Receiver (SR) stored inside snack shack, inside lockbox in red bag
• Operator MUST “Sign-OUT” SR on clipboard hanging inside snack shack
• Use small key (snack shack keys) to unlock lockbox on both sides
• Carry SR red bag to the designated Scoreboard Operator table
• YOU are responsible for the safety of the receiver — valued over $1,000
• Do NOT leave the SR unattended at any time

• SR MUST remain on table attached to the backstop (right side)
• Do NOT leave SR unattended at any time
• Plug SR cord into green outlet
• Flip outlet switch up
• Turn on SR switch on back of receiver
• Move antenna to upright position

AFTER GAME

• Turn off SR switch
• Move antenna to down position
• Flip outlet switch off
• Unplug SR
• Zip up SR in red bag
• Return red bag/SR to lock box, inside snack shack
• Operator MUST “Sign-IN” SR by signing the clip board.  If next game’s scoreboard operator is at field — it is imperative that you “Sign-IN” the SR & they “Sign-OUT” the SR

• Please remember your role is scoreboard operator — not umpire *

To Clear Scoreboard

Press: HOME SCORE: 0 : ENTER   or   Press: VISITOR SCORE: 0 : ENTER

To Add to Score

Press: HOME SCORE   or   VISITOR SCORE: +1, +2 or +3

To Subtract to Score

Press: HOME SCORE   or  VISITOR SCORE: -1

Press BALL and/or STRIKE During at Bat (3 STRIKES automatically scores an OUT and clears count; 4 BALLS automatically clears count)

If Batter Gets a Hit

Press: CLEAR BALL STRIKE AT BAT

To Change Inning

Press: INNING: +1   or   Press: INNING: 1(2, 3, 4,): ENTER
