The SFLL is managed and operated by its Board of Directors, a handful of parent volunteers who were voted into their positions and made a commitment to put children first, every time.  We make decisions as a league and discuss issues at our monthly Board Meeting which is held on the first Sunday of each month.  Check the Calendar for the most up-to-date info about times and locations.

Nearly all of our Board Meetings are open to the public.  Have an issue or concern and want to address the Board?  Send a message to our league’s secretary at sfllsecretary@sierrafoothillsllb.com and ask to be added to the agenda!

Have an issue or concern and can’t wait until the next board meeting?   Contact our League Information Officer at lio@sierrafoothillsllb.com with your concern and it will be directed to the most appropriate board member who can help.

We have an annual General Meeting, held each September after the monthly Board Meeting.  This is the time to nominate and vote for the next batch of volunteers to take an active role on the Board, or stand up and nominate yourself!

If you don’t feel that you have the time to devote to a board position, but still want to help, reach out to our Team Parent Coordinator at Teamparent@sierrafoothillsllb.com.  There are many opportunities to be involved throughout the season and year, for an hour or two, or whole days!  There will ALWAYS be work that needs to be done and your efforts will not go unappreciated.

Let’s not forget Sponsorship!  We rely on the support of many of our local businesses to aid in maintaining our equipment and fields, to purchase All Star uniforms, to help keep lower registration fees, and to help with ensuring that every child has an opportunity to play.  You can choose to sponsor a child or a team, or several of both!  Just click on the Sponsor link and select Opportunities from the drop-down list.  We start our annual Sponsor drive for the following year each December and request that the funds are in by February 1st to guarantee a spot on the Sponsor Boards.

One of the ways Sponsors have helped tremendously is with our new registration payment plans, in addition to scholarships.  You now have the option to pay for your child’s registration in monthly installments due by a certain date, or if things are exceptionally tough, we offer partial and full scholarships based on demonstrated financial need.  Ask the league Registrar for more information by sending an email to registrar@sierrafoothillsllb.com.

There are many ways to be involved, with varying degrees of time and effort, however we are all brought together by one common thread – we do it for the kids!

Let's play ball!
